    CMMG 5.5" .22 TEST Upper

    Got the test upper today.
I slapped a suppressor on it and loaded four 25 round mags. I was shooting in my basement so it isn't sighted in yet. Strickly a function test.
100 rounds fired as fast as I could pull the trigger. ZERO fasilures! I am stoked!

Here is the upper as received:

    Upper after my changes:

    CMMG 5,5" .22 upper
Midwest Industries T-Series 7" Free Float
Midwest Industries Low Profile folding BUIS front and rear
    Primary Arms Reflex Green Dot
    TAC65 Suppressor with a .215 spacer

The sights and Reflex work great together. With the sights folded, I can clearly see the dot optic.
With the sights deployed, I can easily see the irons. They are above the optic when deployed. Perfect for this build.

I wanted a nice build that looked good, function well, was lite weight, and didn't break the bank.
    This fills that very nicely.
Weighs in at 5.8 lbs. with the suppressor, unloaded.

I will be following up with a range report.

Sweet ! Please keep us posted.

I take it this is something they are planning on releasing soon?

I'm building an AR pistol and id love the option of a dedicated .22 upper.

I'm hoping for the end of the month. Looks like field testing is going to be a breeze..
For CA, you can set these up as pistols as shown or as I do, use a pistol lower, carbine buffer, a Spikes fake can, and a full bodied 10 round mag(coming very soon also from CMMG).
From what I understand, no BB is needed on rimfire in CA.
