Who has GSG5 SD? I have a question...

I was wondering who (as in owners and shops) have the GSG5 SD without the two tone? I've searched some of the normal vendors and all I can find is the two tone versions, yet I've found conversion kits for the normal GSG5 that put it as an SD without the two tone look. I've also found a few reviews of people who have GSG5 SD's without the two tone look.

Are these people with conversions? or is there a vendor out there who has the non-two tone SD? Or are people just painting them?

Looking for information if they are obtainable. I'm debating between several different tactical type .22's to add to my collection.

You won't be finding much, if any, new GSG-5s.

They where discontinued a while back.

I think most of the black GSG-5SDs where normal GSGs with the SD handguard bought separately.

You can get a GSG-522SD easily, even Big 5 has them. If you want the proper MP5 look, you'll have to spend anther $60 or so on parts and convert the 522 to a 5.

The reason I asked is that I have a GSG5 for sale. It's two years old with 50 rounds through it. It has a sight rail and two magazines. It's the pre HK lawsuit design (all black). $350 if interested.

River City has the GSG-5 in stock for 319.99 , just bought my second one today and will be going back for the titanium next week. They have the gsg-5 in black, nickel and titanium and the gsg-5SD, cant beat that!!!!

I have a GSG5-SD, all in black. It came that way, not a conversion. Got it at Turners about a year ago.

Likely not worth a trip all the way to socal to see if they have any left though.

you can buy a toy (GSG) or you can buy a real gun that happens to shoot .22lr (AR with dedictated .22 upper)... I had a GSG, thankful every day that I sold it when I did and got a TacSol upper'd AR-22. Fight the hype.
