Question for GSG owners, mechanically inclined gun owners (sort of long and confusing, will try to add pics and maybe answering some questions will help clarify).
Was shooting GSG today and has a misfire. Upon examining the rifle, I noticed there was a rattling in the stock and the bolt could only be pulled back half-way. Upon removing the stock, I noticed there was a metal-colored screw in there as well as a square metal piece.
Upon first glance it appeared that the screw threads through the square piece and screws into the back of the bolt. But after attaching it in this way, the parts fit, but the bolt would only go back half way and it appears that the square piece was impeding it from going back all the way. At this point I'm not sure how these two parts are integrated into the rifle--unfortunately, I don't have the manual and google hasn't yielded much yet.
I realize this is very difficult to convey over the internet, however, I'm hoping maybe someone else had a similar problem w/ there GSG. I'll add pics later if need be.
Thanks guys, kind of at a loss here..
