I just picked up a10/22 ruger it has a high gloss finish the reciever and barrel writing is in gold serial number is39xxx puts it at 1966 really clean shape can anyone tell me value more info. Thanks Mark

Well new I think they were 200 or so. Now there 225 to 300 depending where u go. I heard the were at little as 100 way back then. -

If all intact and original, it would likely command at least a $100 premium from a collector.

I doubt that. I have a K31 from a year that less than 2000 were made. I paid less for it than my more common K31s and, I bought it from a collector who had over 40 of them. Someone whould really really want a '66 bad to pay more than a $25 premium.In 1966 not many were made.
