Anyone know of one? Something with the looks and ergonomics of popular handguns, but with a barrel extended through a slim fake can to try to get closer to the 16" .22lr optimum.

You'll need to find a handgun with a fixed but easily replaceable barrel, then have a .22LR barrel blank machined to fit. I say fixed barrel as tilting barrel designs would be affected by the increased barrel mass and would not function correctly.Last edited by Grumpyoldretiredcop; 11-14-2010, 12:46 AM.I'm retired. I know of only one without going full custom. Ruger Charger (Pistol on 10/22 platform). Available in California only as a single shot.I don't care what you call me, just don't call me late for dinner. Stupid Idiot will suffice, after all, it's only words.
