    S&W 22A

Anybody own and shoot the 22a? Opinions, please. Can the sport grip be replaced with a target grip?

The search function is your friend. There are a lot of posts on this forum about the 22A. I have one and like it. Shoots good with any ammo, easy to clean, accurate and has the feel of a larger pistol. Most prefer the Ruger but I like the larger feel of the 22A.

I got a 22A about a month back and am pretty happy with it.
Will run pretty much all ammo without FTF or FTE problems
          no complaints.

If you are looking for something a bit smaller in size (ladies and smaller hands issues)
take a look at a Bersa Thunder 22. I have one of the Thunder 380's and am going to
buy one of the 22 variants when I get thru my "monthly hangun Allocation" (Thanks CA!)

I've owned one for over a year now. It's a great little shooter. I've had some ammo issues with it. I also had to send it back for a recall but they took care of it promptly. My only real complaint is the grip is a bit too large for my hand and way too large for the wife. S&W does offer a wood target grip that can be reshaped if you are good with wood. Other than the S&W target grip you are hosed for grip options.
