    I agree. I had several .22 WMR rifles, great fun to shoot. Unlike 22lr, ammo cost is not cheap at all. So I sold them all and bought an AR. Steel cased .223 costs only slightly more than .22 WMR. Same with 17HMR...

        Stay away from the Ruger 10/22mag, Ruger had so much trouble with them thay were offering replacements or cash if you sent one to them with problems.!!
