I am thinking about the cost of those .45's.....shot 150 rounds yesterday and with range cost and ammo it was over $80, I want t be able to shoot more for less.

I went through about 600 rounds yesterday with my MKIII and it only cost me about $20
Wow I sure do enjoy shooting rimfire!

A mkII and a conversion are about the same price. With that said I love my ruger MKII. I put a red dot on it for a while and had a lot of fun shooting running ground squirels with it. For a trail gun I take the red dot off for convenience. Much more handy than a conversion.Comment

I have the sig conversion for my 226 and it is great but then i only paid $50 for it because a shop was closing them out I also have a mark II target and it shoot so much better. The conversion is great for practicing sight picture drills and cheap trigger time with your 220. I am luck to to have the best of both world.Comment
