Damn you CA - Do Want

They could but I like the fake can. Mall ninja style.
Even without the thread it'd still need to clear the roster. Gsg is actually working on it so hopefully soon we can buy.Comment

Maybe the lawsuit against the ridiculous "list" will prevail. But then, CA reelected Boxer and Brown so perhaps the lunatics are still in command. Maybe it is actually best to have them all accumulate in two spots, the SF Bay Area and LA. We're overdue for "The Big One"! My apologies to those sane individuals living in there. Don't worry. We'll get you out first and leave the rest!Comment

Im in the same boat on a .17hmr pistol, I want it but CA DOJ said no, the .22 mag version is OK in CA but they wont let the .17hmr... Gota Love the "List"
As for just Permanently attaching the fake can I don't know if that would work, I was reading a recall recently about a MP5 style .22 that the was recalled because the DOJ said the permanently attached fake can to closely resembled the real thing and was therefore a violation. Gota love the interpretation of some lawsComment

Yeah I don't want one anymore after seeing that thread of the GSG 1911 that blew up.Comment

Well - off list or not there are legal ways to get it.
As of late I have been very happy that my father lives in Florida, (IFL gifts rule)

I've got over 2000 rounds through mine to date and have only had a handful of FTFs/malfunctions and they were all attributable to the ammo. The pistol is accurate, reliable and has totally exceeded my expectations. It's a riot to shoot.
According to ATI, they have already submitted modified GSG 1911s (no threaded barrel) to your authorities for testing. There was optimism that that they would be available sometime next year. (??)
I think that there has to be more to that story out of Minnesota. ATI has a really good reputation for customer service and standing behind the stuff that they sell -- and they've been sending out new barrel bushings, slide stops, recoil buffers and magazine followers to everybody that owns one of these for free. There has to be a good reason why they didn't warranty that particular pistol.Comment

I really feel bad for you guys. People here ***** because we can't have AOW's. Shooters in CA get a lot of rediculous laws that do absolutely nothing, and still continue to enjoy the sport. Hats off to you.
