Why is this not bid on?

I'm missing something here, I need to know what you guys are seeing. I know this is a black rifle forum, but I'm sure there are enough regular folk to help me see the perspective. Here is the auction:

For people looking for this exact model, the price is almost half off. The rifle isn't pretty and there are no optics at all, but NIB with a plastic stock and even many used models are in the $600+ range.

But noone is bidding, and I can't figure out why. What do you guys see that is a complete dealbreaker?

I think the deal breaker is that you can get a better .22lr boltgun than the 77/22 in a CZ 452 for less money

77/22's are kind of interesting. They use the same barrel attachment system as the 10/22 (but with a different stub length) so you can use aftermarket barrels designed for the 77/22 (or even 10/22 bbls with a spacer). There's aftermarket triggers for them as well. I had one with a Clark bbl and aftermarket trigger that shot legit less than 1/2" groups at 50 yards.
