I confess to posting a sensational topic title, but I just found out from Kurt at Marvel Precision that the .22LR Commander kit I found is the very first one they ever produced, #CA0001 C.

His records showed it never having left the factory in 2005.

I held my breath there for a minute and hoped that wasn't going to be a problem.

Ummm, okay, I'll bite... so you "found" the kit and it supposedly never left the factory -- what's the story? Is this one of those "hot" ebay purchases? Or are you just bragging about having #1?
