hello everyone, my 10yr. old daughter just put 500 rnds. through it without any problems. we used cci mini mags 36 & 40 grain. she had so much fun she wanted MORE!! so i bought some remington thunder something. she loaded it, shot one rnd and jammed. she cleared it and still jammed. cci mini mags are the way to go.. just wanted to share.

Pretty much sums up all I have heard about the Mosquito.

yea Ive heard a lot about that too. However mine works just fine with the remington golden bullet bulk packs. Try different bulk ammo and you may find something that works. CCI Blazer .22lr works great in my mosquito, along with those winchester 333 packs. It hates the wal mart federal packs though. Experiment with diff types and you may be surprised.

CCI Blazer 22's work just as well and are half the price.

I did notice a bit more leading in my barrel with the CCI blazer 22's , but its extremely reliable ammo in my mosquito.

I use nothing but the Walmart Federal Bulk in my girlfriends Mosquito.......now CCI's were the only ones that realiably worked before, until I filed the barrel lip and polished the feed ramp (about a 3 minute job with a dremel). I just would rather pay $.03 per bullet vs. $.06 per bullet. Now I can go thru 500 rounds of Fed. and have around no more than 5 or so FTF's.

My brother bought a Sig Mosquito---pure solid sewage---tried EVERY kind of ammo (both recoil springs and different magazines)---NOTHING worked---only rarely able to go thru a whole mag without failure---cannot recomend!
