    "Un-fixing" 522 stock?

    Hey All,

I pick up my new 522 on the 28th and had a quick question about the stock. When looking it over in the shop I noticed that the hinge and LOP adjuster are somehow pinned. I ask the shop owner what the deal was, its a rimfire and shouldn't need to be pinned. He said he knew, but that's just the way sig sends them to CA.

So, is there already an established or confirmed method to de-pin stocks from the sig factory? Or, do I just break out the hammer, hacksaw, and duct tape until the thing folds/extends like I want it to?

Thanks for help, looking forward to shooting the thing, Jon.

I just picked mine up a week or two ago and it wasn't pinned at all. Sig doesn't pin them for CA. Now I do have a welded on muzzle brake/flash hider.
Son, one day you will make a girl very happy, for a short period of time. Then she will leave you and be with men who are ten times better than you could ever hope to be. These men are called Marines.

Mine, bought a couple months ago and built 2/10, was not pinned at all.

      Something sounds fishy here.
