I am a newbie from Central Florida.
I have been browsing through the site and have seen several talks about the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 and the Ruger SR22.
I shot many rounds through both AR-15 look alikes in 22LR. I talked to members of my gun club that have both rifles.
To me it was a no brainer. I bought a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 threaded barrel tactical on line for $405 and simple love it.
I have fired every type of 22LR through it from WalMart Federal bulk pack to CCI Mimi-Mag. I have never had one misfire.
There is no comparison. The Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 is far superior. One of my shooting partners even sold his SR 22 and bought M&P 15-22 after firing mine.
