on the manual, it says not recommened remington golden bullet or anything with subsonic..
I have fed it with CCI Blazer, mini-mag, federal value pack from wal-mart...
these will work just fine..
after one thousand round, i have started to feed it remington golden bullet..
it works fine,too

mini mags, federal bulk, and winchester have all ran well in mine
in order of reliability:
1)Mini-mags
2)Federal bulk pack (copper washed bullet)
3) Winchester "333"
4) Remington GB not good at all

My 15-22 gets a steady diet of the Blazer and Mini Mags. The blazer is actually quite accurate at 50 yards. I can run some 250 to 500 rounds of the Blazer in a session in my 15-22 without any lost of accuracy.

Noting that, last week, I thought that I would try the Blazer in my 22lr. pistol conversion kits. They do not like it. I need to run a bore snake after every 50 rounds to keep the accuracy on par. Oh well, I tried.

I'll echo what everyone else is saying! I have used ONLY used the Federal Bulk packs from Walmart in the 15-22 and after 4,000 + rounds I have only had 2-3 FTF/FTE! For me, its no need to spend the $.03 more per bullet for the CCI's.

I agree with the above. Had some problems with hollowpoints. CCI Mini Mags seem to be the most fun to shoot. (Try them, you will understand)

All I feed mine are Walmart Fed 550 and Win 333 ammo.

It likes both..........

I have shot everything from bulk WalMart Federal 22LR to CCI Mini Mag's.
My M&P 15-22 has never misfired with anything I have tried through it.

Have all shot great through my gun...CCI minimag is by far the best but is more money than the bulk stuff. Both the Winchester and Federal bulk have the same reliability through my gun but the Winchester stuff is more accurate for the same price. CCI blazers shoot good but I like to run copper plated bullets instead because of lead fouling.
