For target shooting, I like these grips b/c of the palm shelf.

Ruger sells various wood grips. I use the Hogue smooth left handed ones, I've had them for years and work well on the range or in the field.

I use the Hogue rubber grip with right hand thumb rest and love it. I also tried the volthane grip and didn't like it. If you're hand is a little larger, then it fits tight.

I went with the Hogue on my Mk II. Love it.

it seems hogue has the lead over the volthane all tho i like the looks of the volthane.

+1 for the hogue rubber finger grips. I like with the thumb rest myself. Many people will attest to there comfort for range or hunting work.

I bought the Volquartsen Volthane for my MKII during the 10-day waiting period. Installed the grip after I picked up the gun. Shot it like that since the first round. I like it. Of course, it sucks when someone who's not a right-handed shooter wants to try out my MKII.
