price check on Ruger MKII Target

I'm thinking about making some room in the safe since my Model 41 is in Jail for another 10 days.....whats a fair price to ask for a 1st year production (1981?) Mark 2 target. This gun is 99%,like new with orig box and all papers..she has maybe 500 rds thru her...with 1 orig mag, 1 aftermarketmag it is blue with 6-7/8 " tapered BBL....bone stock gun...any Ideas?

That's probably a good starting point for California. The tapered barrel target models sell for between $225 and $250 on the auction sites. But a really nice condition one might go for more than $250 in California if you find a local buyer who only needs to pay $35 for a PPT.

I have one just like it that I got from a pawn shop for $250. However mine didn't have the box etc. I'd definitely go for $300, it's a great gun!
