    Model 1 sales

I purchased a Model 1 sale dedicated upper about 2 years ago ,and after putting 2500-3500 rounds through it the firing pin broke.I emailed them and they said they would send one out no charge ,nice! ,but i wanted an extra pin ,extractor ,and the springs for those parts. Also the roll pins for the firing pin ,and extractor. They said no problem ,but we have to charge for the extra parts I say fine no big deal.A week goes by no parts call them up ,and they say we fell behind ,and the parts will go out that day ,and for your inconvenience we will only charge you for one firing pin.So i thought i would share this as they did stick to their word .At least it made me feel better about them, and I got all the parts 2 days later.

good deal. I am looking at. Getting an upper from them shortly. Glad to hear they take good care of their customers.
Son, one day you will make a girl very happy, for a short period of time. Then she will leave you and be with men who are ten times better than you could ever hope to be. These men are called Marines.

Lots of people had their credit card numbers stolen after using M1S in the past couple years. Look it up. Not sure if they've addressed the problem yet.

I own a M1S upper and its accurate and has performed flawlessly, but I'd never buy from them again since they denied they had a problem and it led to thousands of people having their cards stolen.

they have been great to me in the past. replaced an upper, no questions asked on their own dime. it was an ammo related problem too.

                  Dragon,

In the upper paragraph you said they would send you a new firing pin at no charge!!!! THEN towards the bottom they tell you they're only gonna charge you for one due to your inconvenience????? Sounds like they were going to charge you for both and you caight them in the nick of time doing it. Be cautious as to what they tell you. A few play on words means more money out of your pocket.

I admit I haven't had any issues with them either but from what I've heard/read on this website you must be cautious.
Remember you can get all the parts you need at any gun show in abundence.

He stated he wanted to buy an extra pin, extractor, springs.................. They only charged him for 1 pin and gave him the rest of the stuff free, from what I read.

I just found out that my CC was hit for almost $4,000 in bogus charges in Indiana. I did a phone order for an AR build kit from Model 1 Sales on 9-13-10.

Sorry to hear that!! Ive been checking my CC since i placed the order over the phone ,and no extra charges have been made.I have not used my CC anywhere since i placed the order with Model 1, so its been real easy to monitor.I check every couple of days.

Sorry to hear that. This is why I was trying to warn people. I guess M1S is still ignoring the problem even though years have passed. Unnacceptable.
