Where to go to get a .17HMR?

Tossing and turning over a CZ vs Savage (which is a whole 'nother topic) Should I stick with a gun shop or give a shot to one of the FFL holders here? I'm in Sunnyvale btw and am lazy which means I won't drive to the east bay or such

Anyone you've dealt with that you can recommend and just as valuable, to avoid?

The CZ is a much nicer gun than the Savage tho the Savage is a great deal, IMO try Davidsons guns on line?

Last gun I bought was back in 1990 when I had an FFL so I have zero clue as to buying from the web. Is there a link you can point me to that explains how this works?

True but it will always be worth 1/2 the price as well? just two examples of rifles for someone whom might like nicer looking rifles and just maybe better made?

Used to do some serious squirrel apprehending down in Los Padres/Hunter Ligget with an HK91 This was back in the day when ammo was really cheap. Had to sell it due to parting ways/financial crap with a live in girlfriend. I really missed that gun.

The gun price will have all that included +tax as you look at the dealers list it will tell you whats included.

Last q: the price in the quote thingy is list price? Is that the cheapest I can expect to pay?

No! when you check out the dealers their own price will show! then a total price. go through all the motions nothing will happen unless you agree to the sale and you can always go back to check out other stuff it takes some getting use to.
