Kel-tec SU22 CA legal?

New here.
Had a question regarding the SU22 -- for some reason I remember seeing them for sell @ a couple recent gun shows in CA...are they in fact legal to buy/own in CA?
Anyone know?

it's a .22lr long rifle..........why would it be illegal? Trust the flow chart and all will be right with the world only thing i can see is not being able to get 10 round mags but the rifle itself should be ok. welcome to calguns!

most gun store clerks are completely ignorant to gun laws past the DROSing process. It's always best to arm yourself with info before you go in, then tell them what you want and if they give you crap say "look buddy, i know what i want, and i know it's legal. If you don't want my money, i'll go somewhere else. But if you feel like making a few bucks today, call your distributors and see if someone can get me one. Otherwise, I'm out of here and i'm taking my $XXX.XX with me..." You have to be the boss of your transaction, and you have to be right. If you are, you'll get what you want. If not, you'll get pushed around and driven in the wrong direction. I once had a guy tell me that all carbines are illegal assault weapons....needless to say, i don't shop there anymore.

Always come to calguns first with any questions....

I haven't seen them for sale with the 10 rnd mags I think that is all they need to be CA legal. They sound like a good lightweight rifle for my kids, @ 4.5 lbs
