Hi, I'm new here, but I have a problem with a 67 vintage Glenfield/Marlin 60 given to me by my father, looking for a little help.
The gun fires fine with most types of ammo, but seems to jam quite a lot on the last 4 or 5 rounds. No FTE's just jams a round in the loading guide? which requires a tool to dig it out. I have cleaned it meticulously and did find a cracked buffer,but no other noticeable wear on the internals. I am thinking it is a weak tube mag spring. If I am on the right track, anyone know where to get a replacement or if the tube can be disassembled to stretch the spring? I want to restore this thing to fully working condition to give to a nephew next year on his 16th birthday.
