    Pump action takedown

    I have a Taurus M-62 Pump action takedown .22LR I was wanting to list it for sale here on Calguns I live in Nevada would this be legal to sell in CAL. if i send it to a FFL? Does anybody know? Thanks.

    As a NV resident, you will need to ship it to a CA FFL.

    1) Most FFLs in CA charge $65-75 (including state DROS fees) to receive a rifle. If your gun is worth <$200, this might not be worth it for the buyer.

    2) The FFL must be willing to receive the rifle from a non-FFL (assuming you don't have an FFL). Some do, some don't. It's another headache for the buyer to deal with.

    3) I'm not sure how many rds are in that tube but it doesn't matter. the 10rd capacity limit for firearms in CA does NOT apply to tubular magazines.
