I've been shopping around for a new 10/22 barrel and pretty much found that Green Mountain is one of the best for the low price. I'd like to go with the Volq snake fluted barrel, but don't want to spend the money on it.
Zimmerman makes this and it looks good. It will fit my standard stock so I won't have to buy a new one, and it looks good, and it's a Green Mountain blank they started with so it should be good, and save me a couple hundred bucks between stock and higher priced barrel.
They also have a standard sporter profile stainless GM barrel for the same price, but I like the threaded and fluted one, and its a little lighter.
