So does anyone have any input on some decent scopes for the S&W MP15-22? Im looking for something preferably under $100. I was thinking something like BSA or Barska but I dont want to throw my money away on a piece of junk either. I just want it for Varmint Hunting and I dont need a huge magnification probably just like a 4x, a cheap Tactical scope could work as well. Let me know what you guys think/recommend or use.

Any decent scopes on Amazon for under $100? For hunting small game and plinking, should I go red dot or magnified scope? Lastly, are there any scopes or red dots that can clear the factory iron sights so I dont have to remove them or invest in the folding iron sights?Last edited by SMOKEYMOUNTAIN; 09-01-2010, 7:36 PM.____________________________________

Don't buy BSA, Barska, Simmons, NcStar etc. You can go Bushnell, Vortex, Nikon, or Leapers. I have ran several Leapers on a similar style .22's and they work 100% as any. After all, it is just a .22

Umm... check the gun part sales forum. Somebody might have a Nikon 4x32 RF, or something similar, for sale. I'm just saying...

just an update I went with a Leapers scope. Here's the link http://leapers.com/prod_detail.php?m...atus=&mtrack=m. It only cost about 60 w/ rings. I'll post another update with pictures of it mounted when it gets delivered. For those who have fought for freedom...Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

Boo-Yah! Nice set up, looks like a lotta fun! Here's a pic of a bug buster with variable power 3-9x32 next to my Hawke Sidewinder 6-24x56. Nice and compact
