S&W M&P 15-22 Mag Queston?

Is there an quick/easy loader for the mag? The design of it and the lack of a spring assist completely baffles me, and that da*n pointy thing in the back just hurts . There is no reason that i should be able to load 9mm, .45 loads much easier than this .22 lol. I havent looked, but I figured I would ask u guys/gals on here since so many seem to have this gun. So is there something I can purchase to make loading easier???

I got 3 of the 10 round shorty mags from S&W. They have a load assist button on the side. The 10 round full size mag does not have this load assist and now I do not use them for the reason you cite. There is not an easy loader, at least not that I have been able to find.

With the load assist button, an easy loader becomes moot in my opinion.

Sometimes ill put a screw driver or just another 22 round through the hole where the load assist should be pull down the spring and load it up.

...we have used (on diff occasions, besides the standard fingers)...a key, a 5.56 round, a little allen wrench, a small punch. Ya, a little screwdriver like NapaPlinker suggested. It's all pretty easy

S&W short 10 rounders

I'm really happy with the short, ten round mags I ordered directly from the S&W webstore. They are built like the original 25 rounders and are easy to load. Might not look as mean as the longer version, but way more useful if you ask me since we're already limited to ten rounds. Mine came with 25rd mags since I got it in WY (I'm military) and they work great, but not so convenient for prone or bench shooting. Not to mention I had to leave them in WY to stay on the right side of the law. These 10 rd mags are somewhere in between your standard AR 20rd and the short 10rd mags.

Just ordered 4 ! , have been waiting on my local dealer now over 3 months and no show on the mags yet !
guess I'll have to get my $'s back and order from you guys...
looking fwd to a mag that works for bench shooting and hunt'n...the long ones look cool and all...but with only 10rds....might as well have a 10rd size mag !
