10/22 Scope mounting question

Jack says it shouldn't be an issue with the mount.

So, the hump seems to be the most likely cuplrit. Instead of taking material away from the receiver, I will likely shim inbetween the the receive and the scope base in the rear.

Did you verify that your receiver has the hump by using a straight edge?

Not yet. I will check this weekend, crossing my fingers that this is the problem as the fix is straight forward.

15 MOA 10/22 scope base

I made one that has about 15 MOA built in to compensate for droop or long range bullet drop. You can see on the left end, the base is a little thicker which tips the scope down and allows more adjustment.


This block has a set screw that limits barrel movement. Helps consistency.



Top of base has only the 2 notches I use.
