    Smith & Wesson's M&P 15-22 barrel thread?

I don't know if I am imagining things, but I remember someone was offering to make a barrel thread service for the M&P 15-22 here before. If so can someone help me to find it?

Also I assume this is not illegal on M&P 15-22 right? Since it is a rim-fire.

This old thread has been around for awhile... if you are around LA, contact AR15Barrels. Else look at the other options in the thread.

I got mine threaded by ar15barrels...He does it while you hang out in front of his garage and does super good work. He also will do the crown as an added bonus. With his crown job I can make a single nickle sized hole in paper at 25 yards with Win 333's. Dime size with CCI. I think his charge was $30 if you bring him only the barrel or $50 if he removes the barrel for you.

Just got back from Randall's place. He dismantled my upper, threaded the barrel, re-installed the barrel, installed the flash hider, and 20 minutes later I was on my way home.
                Highly recommended.

Why isn't the SW MP15-22 purchased alot more with the Flash suppressor already installed. The dealer I got mine from sold it for $540 in march of this year. Seems alot of people do there homework to find places for aftermarket mods rather than looking for dealers that carry what they want in the first place.

The Ca. compliant I bought from Bud's was $365 shipped, and didn't come with a flash hider. $55.00 to add the flash hider brought me up to $420.00. Don't think any more homework could have got me a better deal.

One reason is the original version did not come with the FH installed. Most of us having this work done have the original.
