    Ceiner 1911 .22LR conversion, mags?

Hey guys, just got my Ceiner conversion kit with 1 included 10-rd mag. Midway sells additional ceiner mags, but they're fairly expensive @ $35/pop. My question is, will the kimber mags (or any other mags I might find) work with the ceiner kit?

    thanks.

Not sure about the Ciener kit, but I can tell you that the Ciener mags work with my Kimber kit. The Kimber mags are plastic and have a pyramid shaped base that might not work with a magwell unless you do some trimming. The Ciener mags are metal, work fine with a magwell and feel much more solid. Personally, I like the Ciener mags better.

Buy a Kimber mag from Brownells and see if it works. If it does not return it and let us know if it worked. Brownells has a wonderful return policy. I have had no trouble returning anything in the past.

I use the Kimber plastic mags with my Ciener 1911 kit and they work just fine.

Yep, Kimber and Ciener mags are interchangeable for either kits. As other poster stated, the only possible issue is Kimber mag may interfere with the magwell and may need some trimming of the bottom cover/base for the mag to seat properly.
