Sig 522 forearm/hand guard

I am thinking about changing the forearm/handguard on my 522 but had a few questions, any help i could get would be great!

1 - How hard is it to change it over?

2 - What are some different options?

3 - Where can i find some different stocks online? (yes, i've used google but i cant seem to find too much info on purchasing stocks)

4 - If you have changed the stock, how do you like it?

The only way I'm aware of to change out the 522 stock is to get an adapter. I have this one from DDLES (only problem is they've been on backorder for a while), which lets you screw in a buffer tube and put whatever kind of AR style stock on it you wish. It comes with instructions on how to get it set up- it's pretty simple but you may need an extra set of hands putting the button/spring/pin from the old stock into the adapter.

Overall it's a bit on the expensive side, but does make your rifle look pretty cool.

I pulled the rails off of my Sig 522 SWAT and it was VERY easy Look in your owner's manual and you'll see how easy

I have the stock forearm off my 556, it is the "fish gill" one. If interested let me know, I heard they will fit on 522's
