    S&W MP15-22 MAG ?

    Hi to All...
    just got my 2nd 15-22 about a week ago.....they are like chips...you can't have just one...LoL

    anyway the question is....my dealer told me that S&W makes a MP 15-22 in 22 magnum....

    is this true...anyone seen/shoot one yet...?

      You could ask the guys on the s&w forum. Or just call s&w directly. I doubt that exists though.

        maybe the lady read it wrong , she might have been looking at mags not mag. , i'll double check...sure would be cool if they did , the 22 mag is one of my fav's....
        not cheap ammo ! .....

          Probably the Magpul MOE edition. Haven't heard anything about a .22 Magnum 15-22.

              Sorry for the noob question but when you say 15-22, does the 15 refer to the number of rounds in the clip can hold? As in 10-22 for the Ruger since it holds 10, I guess? Any clarification would be appreciated. thanks

                15-22 as in the Model Name/Number of the Smith and Wesson .22 Clone.

                The rifle is called the Smith and Wesson 15-22

                    It's a something 15 because it is patterned after an AR 15. S&W AR-15 clone is the M&P 15. It's a dash 22 since it is a 22 instead of full size 223
