    Savage Springfield 120 ???

My father had an old springfield 120a its a single shot bolt action .22 It has now been passed down to me. I took it out to shoot it a couple times now but its tough to shoot and I wanted to know if there was any way to put a scope on it. I'm just looking to plink at 50 to 100 yards but I can barley see the target at 50 yards lol. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

I am in the same boat buddy. I just picked one up for $100 and want to do some stuff to it to make it look real nice (and shoot). It just seems that no one has any real info. Or they just dont want to give it out lol

you can put a scope on just about anything...with enough money!!!!!

This might be a better place to look for help on your rifle:

Basically all rimfire (22's n stuff) all the time. I'm thinking somebody there has already done what you're interested in.

        Good shooting

            Grooved receiver

Does your rifle have a grooved receiver? Mine does. If it does just buy some rings and put a scope on it.
