    Best Pump .22 Rifle?

What's the best pump .22 rifles out there? I would like to purchase one to use in some very (very) low level silhouette shooting (yes, it has to be a pump.) The only one I have personally fired is the Remington 572 and it seemed like a solid firearm. Any favorites?

Remington 121, I think. Taurus makes current versions of the Winchester slide action, Henry makes a nice one too.

      Remington 121!

The Remington 572 is a nice pump 22, I really like them. The 121 is a classic and is probably considered one of the best 22 pumps of all time.

IMHO you cant go wrong with a Winchester 1890! They have great weight, shoot fast, and are dead on.

I have the Taurus 72 carbine in 22mag. What a fun, sweet shooting gun.
I shot my friends model 62 in 22lr and fell in love with the action, it took me several months to find one. One of those guns I would never sell.
I am a lefty and really prefer the pump action.

Thanks. I don't know much about the 121 and budget is a concern but I will look into it.

I really don't even know where to start. Who makes the most accurate pump-action .22's at a decent price? Remington? Winchester? Marlin?

Get yourself an old Winchester 1906 or 1890. No waiting period and everyone I have shot has been very accurate.

Original Winchester 62/62A if you can get one. Otherwise, the Taurus 62 is a pretty good choice.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!
