For the bolt release, it's easy to modify your existing one. Check out rimfirecentral.com

I have purchased 10/22 parts from this vendor - very good place to order from IMO - http://www.hawktecharms.com/ruger/10-22.htm

I bought the Volquartsen hammer and exact edge extractor for my 10/22T. Really helped the stock trigger feel and the extractor solved my
        jam problems.

Another cool mod is to replace the steel bolt stop pin (bolt buffer) with a synthetic one. The above sells the "Tuffer Buffer" for $6.95.

buy just the hammer and take a dremel and make your bolt hold open an auto release. just a mater of taking out a small piece.

rimfiresports will probably be just a hair cheaper. the hammer alone is about $33, and the bolt release is about $10(?)

C&R discount at Midway will drop the price to $35 or so. I ordered this combo for my wife's 10/22 and it is great. I'd just bite the bullet and order it. I got a Power Custom trigger kit from Midway a year ago for my 10/22. The VQ hammer dropped the pull to nearly the same amount (3 lb 1 oz vs 3 lb 0 oz) and was much easier to install. The auto bolt release is very handy. I don't know why Ruger makes their rimfires not have a slingshot function.
