Just ordered my first Single Six!

I just ordered this from Bud's:

Anyone order from Bud's before? How long does it take? (They supposedly have it in stock.)

It's going to be a training platform for my wife & kids, and also a fun plinker for myself. I was initially going to get the SS hunter model, but it's never in stock.

Good purchase, you will enjoy it a lot. Superb shooter, and great practice for a Blackhawk or SuperBlackhawk should you get one later.

22 revolvers are addictive. The Ruger Bearcat is a nice little 22 also. I had one once and sold it, which I regret now.

I picked one up few years ago and it's part of my "permanent" collection. Fun little gun and it's a blast shooting .22 mags.

For me, single action is the perfect reason to get it. For young shooters it will have a lighter trigger pull and also discourage any notion of trying to spray bullets. My wife is also in favor of getting a 'cowboy' gun because to her it doesn't look evil
