I like the Savage in .17hmr. For less than 200 bucks, the price is right too. -
I just bought a Savage 93TR "tactical" bolt gun in 17 HMR. I am in the process of trying to find what it prefers. At 100 yards on a windy day I was able to get about 1 1/2" using 20 gr. Hornady ammo. There was a pronounced shift in point of impact when I went to a 17 gr round. No one arrives in Hell surprised. (St. Robert Bellarmine)Comment

I have a Savage 93r17 and really like it. It was afairly inexpensive rifle but performs well. I don't like the Accu-Trigger as well as the Riflebasix I had in my first one but after you get used to it you can put'em into small groups. Wind is a big factor with the 17HMR though, that little projectile gets pushed around like a Band Geek with a stiff breeze."Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country,"

I agree.
You'll never regret buying one of these unless you never use it much.
Very addictive when plugging rodents.
No hold over out to about 150 yards or so.
It's like cheating.
