Man, you guys are killing me with all of the posts on new .22lr toys. I'm in the middle of thinning my collections and it's hard enough knowing what's already available that I can't/shouldn't buy... now this... and it takes BDM mags too!

I've been reading that Chiappa uppers are pretty decent for the price so this should be a nice set up as long as they don't cheapen the lower too much.

Looks nice if the quality is there. I bought a Sig 522 and I'll buy a Ruger 10/22 and maybe a Volquartsen Fusion ($$$$)--nothing else because of quality and longevity issues. If this gets good reviews after 6 months in the field, I'd jump on one for the price--it's less than a .22LR M4 upper alone hence I'm a resident of Missouri on this one: "The Show Me" state.

But, based on reviews of people who own them, that ain't sayin' much for reliability.

Only if it is mated to a Centerfire upper. Otherwise, as a dedicated rimfire, it is good to go.
If you put a centerfire upper on it just follow the CA AW Chart and make it legally compliant.

if you were change back and forth just add a bb to it and use the red tool when a .22 upper is on it
