    My customized Ruger 10-22 PICS

Just thought I would share my 10-22 with you guys. Just got "done" with it. I love this little gun! The one thing I hate about them is how easy it is to spend money on these things. It's ridiculous. I just picked up the stock for it also. I really wanted a Bell & Carlson Anschutz but they are impossible to find. I found this one at the Del Mar gun show and it was almost identical to what I wanted. I guess Boyds just started making these recently. Anyway, here is a list of everything I have done to it, and a couple of pics.

    Boyds Custom Target Stock
Butler Creek lightweight barrel (going to change this out soon)
Eagle Eye Optics scope (cheapy, but it works perfectly for my needs)
Butler Creek Flip Up lens covers
    Volquartsen TG2000 Trigger group
    Volquartsen Charging Handle
    Volquartsen Spring Rod Assembly
    Volquartsen Buffer
    Volquartsen V-Block for the barrel
    KIDD Performance Bolt Assembly

The only thing left on this gun that is stock is the receiver. It really is amazing the difference all these parts make! The trigger of course being the most dramatic. It's a super fun gun to shoot. Despite the fact that a lot of people say bad things about the B/C barrel, mine seems to work just fine. I am going to swap it out for something a little better soon though.

Let me know what you guys think!

LOL, let's see, I spent a lot...Don't really know the total. Great part is that I am not married!!!! I do have a g/f but we have a deal, she doesn't ask how much I spend on guns and motorcycle, and I don't ask how much she spends on clothes.

I have spent a bit of time at the range but we were just plinking. I still need to sit down and really dial the scope in. Thanks for the compliment!

          Nice and clean!

I like the lightweight barrel build so it can still be fired comfortably from kneeling and standing.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! Really appreciate it. I'm pretty proud of that little rifle. I REALLY wanted that Anschutz stock but I couldn't find one anywhere. Everyone I talked to said it was like a 6-8 week back order and I figured since no one had them in stock, it would be even longer. The Boyds fits the bill nicely and is the closest to the Anschutz I could find.

Not sure what it is made of. I think it's a composite stock all the way through. It's pretty light weight. Love the way it feels and the fit of it also. Next on my list is one more barrel upgrade, get the scope spotted in, and done!

Really liking the Nodak Spud receiver!!! I will probably have to pick one of those up and build a spare 10-22. I was already thinking of getting one of their vintage M-16/AR lowers so now I really have a reason to shop with them.

Looks really good man. Spending a lot just means you made it the way you want it, and will be happy every time you pull the trigger.

Just wondering, what Anschutz did you want to get?
Here's a pic of one of mine. Not the best picture but you can get an idea. This one's easy to get though I think. I really like yours. I may have to pick one up. I can't find it on their site though.

That is the exact Anschutz I wanted. Pretty sure the stock you have is called "Anschutz". The other one they have is the "Anschutz Thumbhole". I must have contacted at least 8 different vendors and all of them said they were out and they were on back order.

If I can find one, I will probably end up getting one and building another one. These things are just like my AR's, totally addicting and having one isn't enough, lol.

I'm pretty sure rimfiresports.com has them in stock.
