It is a nice rifle. I bought one from Turners a few months ago so I could continue teaching my grandkids. The old broken Winchester 41 cost more to fix than its worth.
I took my 10yr. old grandson to the range last week and he hit everything he aimed at. He was hitting the metal pop ups from 50' one after another. I actually bought it for him, so I just bought a used 10/22 from a member here for myself.

Get proper tip-off optic mounts. Too many people try 11 or 13mm airgun mounts not realizing that they aren't suitable for the Marlin receiver grooves. They will walk under the amazingly heavy recoil of your new .22. Proper tip-offs won't.Comment

I got one yesterday, I am exited!!!!Jackandblood on shotguns:As I understand it, semi is geared more towards sporting. Then again, according to counter strike, it's imperative to put 3 quick into center of mass. Also from what i hear you dont want a pump shotgun for home defense as the pumping sound is "cool" and will actually attract more thugs. Like starting a party up in here.Comment
