    GSG-5 SD malfunction

    just bought a new GSG we put about 100 rounds thru it and then it had magazine feed problems, any thoughts?

    First off, Welcome to the calguns forums. I'm no expert on guns but it might help the experts here in the forum, if you gave them some more information. What kind of ammo where you using? Did you previously clean and oil the gun before firing it? I'm sure someone will weigh in with some useful advise.

      Make sure you are keeping it clean and lubed, and try running only CCI Minimags for the first 500-1000 rounds. Those seem to work in everything, and I find that picky guns become less so after they've been broken in a bit.

        Give it some break-in time. I have a GSG-5 that feeds every brand/type of ammo I have put in the mag. Are you using the factory 10 round magazine?
