Zimmerman Arm (1022)

Anyone have experience with these awesome ONE PIECE 10/22? They make 3-4 length. If you do the match, their prices are not that bad.



I like the MINI with 16" lightweight fluted SS barrel. Zimmerman's light barrel is only 32 oz. I wonder if it is possible to make a 4 lbs 1022.

I heard from a friend that Ruger's modern (read: ****ty) cast tooling-marked bolts won't work well without some motivated filing of the bolt. If you use a Kidd or something, you'll be fine.

I don't have any personal experience anyhoo. I always thought it was a great idea though.
