    Custom Ruger 10/22 HELP!

I am trying to help my brother out building his custom ruger 10/22. Below will be pictures of what he wants generally. I have been pulling my hair out trying to find what parts you actually need and all that! We are trying to find a place that builds them complete/custom like this one here

So I gave these guys a call and it turns out the website is over 5 years old and he only does gunsmithing now! Well I am back searching. He isn't going expensive btw somewhere from $500-$650 without glass/bipiod/etc. So if you know anywhere that build customs complete please help!

Looking for all black complete with:

    Target Black Synthetic Stock

18"-20" Matte Black Bull Barrel (20" preferably)

    Standard trigger/bolt/reciever etc

ETC thanks for all the help fellas

Customizing the 10-22 requires the removal of THREE BOLTS.
You can get the stock and barrel you show here as a package from:

Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

Its the butler creek synthetic stock/20 inch match barrel kit and costs around $170 and installation is EASY.

I agree 100% with X-NewYawker. Plus, you can sell the old stock/barrel for a few extra bucks.

However, if you just want to buy it all together, I think what you want is the factory Ruger Target Tactical

Making a standard 10/22 look like the one in the bottom picture takes less than five minutes.

            Tacticool

            Order a 10/22 Tactical.

Comes with bull barrel, bipod, hogue stock. Runs about $489. I'm ordering one next month.

The stock in the second pic is a hogue overmold stock.

I put a green version (they do have black, also) in my 10/22 and love it. If you want a heavy barrel make sure you get the model for that and not the standard size barrel.

Green Mountain Barrels make great .920" target barrels. I got a 16" one and it balances great.

Except I'll be waiting for a sale...$490 sounds a bit steep...is that a So Cal price?

Coyote Hunter555, you may also want to go online and look up Tactical Solutions. They make a myriad of parts for Ruger 10/22 recievers as well as Ruger Mark series and 22/45 models as well as Browning Buckmark model pistol parts. There parts are top flight. You will pay more for one of their barrels than say a Greene Mountain or Adams & Bennett but you will also get a more accurate barrel and you can get it in many different color options etc. Good luck and enjoy what you built.
