    Need Help

I was surfing the web and found a place that sell a complete dedicated .22LR AR-15 upper for $309. I can not find it. Anybody have info on it?

You're going to have to be a little more specific and/or descriptive.

If you find it let me know? I would rather build one and have the swapping ability then buy a dedicated tacticool .22, which I was planning on doing tomorrow>

Thanks, It looks like that might be the reason I was looking for to complete my own build.. I'd like to have a 5.56 and be able to shoot .22 only because of cost.

Have you guys ever used a 22lr upper on your AR?

I have not but when I saw this video, it freaked me out on the idea and I decided to get a dedicated 22 instead, as the dude finally says midway after the 20th fte - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYAzjRIeGtM

Not trying troll, just really want to know your thoughts and experiences with teh 22 uppers. I know ppl hate on the Ciener 22 LR conversion kits but then Spikes also makes a kit and upper, haven't heard any feedback on those, but also haven't looked for any.

Impactguns.com sells it, but you have to call and I don't remember the price.

I have a 22lr upper from Velocity Firearms. I probably paid too much for it, but it is a keeper. I had some initial FTE, but after breaking it in, I haven't had many problems. Most could be attributed to the bulk .22 ammo I was using.

The video that you posted was a guy shooting a conversion kit, not a dedicated .22 upper. I think that the dedicated uppers are a bit more reliable than the drop-in conversion kits.
