    Tech Sights ts100s are...

    AWSOME!

Finally got out to the range today and my STOCK 10/22 was shooting one ragged hole at 25 yards(off bench of course)! About the size of a "shoot and see" paster. About an inch in diameter! I have NEVER shot this well before and would Highly recommend these sights to anyone looking for a better iron sighting system for their 10/22.

At 50 yards, I could keep all my shots inside of a small shoot n' see(The ones that come in a 12 pack). With all the shots being very close together using Federal lead round nose High velocity.
    WOOT!

how does the front sight mount on the barrel? is it a screw down band? or is it something that needs to get gunsmith'd?

oh and which diameter barrel do you have? standard or .920?

I had them on an SKS and loved them, sold the SKS but bought another set for my Mossberg 702 plinkster.
      They're awesome!

They're pretty much a required item at Appleseed events.

I just installed the AK set they have on my Yugo and will be trying it out in the next day or so. Install was abit of a PITA as I had to file down the new receiver cover, but all in all looks solid; hope it holds zero.

The front sight base is a slip fit over a .920 barrel and holds very well with an application of green (retaining compound) loctite. Many people worry about their front sight being attached to the barrel with loctite... but keep in mind there is a LOT of surface area for the adhesive to bond with and green loctite is pretty stout stuff.

It's fairly critical to get the front sight base level with the top of the receiver before the loctite sets-- because it takes some heat & effort to remove if you don't get it right the first time.

I just have a standard barrel, but man am I impressed with what it could do! I especially liked shooting it at 50 yards, its fun to see a shoot and see turn green.
