    .22 short in MKIII

Anyone try running 22-short in their Ruger MKIII? Don't care if it cycles or not... just wondering if I can use it in it without issues.

It'll work fine as long as you cycle the action by hand.

I have hand loaded shorts since they wont feed or cycle in most semis. Due to the shorter case, you may get some powder residue in the chamber that causes the cartridges with longer cases to stick. A quick brushing/boresnaking will clean it right out though.
