A question for Ruger SR-22 owners

How difficult is it to modify the stock on these to add an extra inch or two? I am interested in picking up one of these to be a gun I can take out and shoot all day without breaking the bank on ammo or having to ice down my shoulder from 100+ rounds through my mosin. Only problem is, like most guns I try, its a little short for me.

So I am wondering if there is a thick recoil pad or a stock extension I can buy to add a bit of length.

You could change the stock to a Magpul MOE + Magpul buttpad.

Or you can just swap the whole thing for an A2 buttstock:

They make some slip-on pads that are compatible with the M4-style stock that comes on the guns, but they're not that great and don't add much thickness to the stock.

You could also go with a Magpul ACR + Magpul Enhanced buttpad. The ACR is actually longer than the MOE, and adding the buttpad will make it even longer. But it's a more expensive stock.

My MOE set with buttpad was about an inch bigger then the traditional stock.
