          I highly recomend the combination.

My 453 Varmint with Leupold 6.5-20 is down right boring as well (aside from reading the wind). The combo of extra magnification and single set trigger makes shooting tiny groups or putting a round in a varmint's eye socket almost too easy. Its the most accurate rifle I've ever owned. I would really consider getting the 453 over the 452 for the trigger, its awesome even if you don't set it. Asprin at size groups at 100 yards, golf balls at 200 yards, and coke cans at 300...not bad for a rimfire.

My favorite rifle for rabbits & squirrels is my .17HM2 CZ 452 American with a Leupold 3-9x33 EFR, beautiful wood grain and amazing groups!
