Can not ship to CA reason

Any reason this can not ship to CA. It is for a .22. Is it a cheaper than dirt issue

CTD issue, I'd just buy one on ebay if you're so inclined. When I was debating Ruger vs Marlin I was checking out some of those style stocks in the $90 buck range w/ free shipping.

Cheaper than Dirt and Sportsmans Guide make up all sorts of rules and pretty much won't ship ammor or anything that is for a rifle with a pistol grip, or even remotely looks like it MIGHT go on a rifle with a pistol grip to any of the 2A unfriendly states. They make it up themselves and really don't care that it isn't illegal or controlled in any way.

Don't support these jerks! Buy from someone who supports CA 2A rights, even if it may cost a buck or two more - there's more to it than price!!

Sportsman's Guide didn't have a problem shipping 500 rounds of 7.62x51 to me here in Anaheim.

There is nothing wrong with shipping it to California.

CTD has decided that it is easier to simply not ship to California rather than worry about being in compliance with the law.

Many legal folding knives? Won't ship... in fact... a SOG Vulcan folder that CTD wouldn't ship, I bought from Sportsman's Guide.

"Evil Features"? CTD will ship NOTHING that is on the SB23 "Evil features" list, even though those items are 100% legal on a rimfire gun, or a centerfire with a locking mag.

I returned a set of boots once and put the invoice in the top of the boot so it would not be lost in the packing. I got a nasty letter from Sportsmans guide admonishing me for returning the boots without a receipt.
Okay, I get it. You are lazy, stupid and rude. I never spent another dollar there. I let them send me catalogs because it costs them money.

I haven't run into a problem with Sportman's Guide yet, but if they pulled something on me like they did with you, I'd probably shop somewhere else. I hope I don't have any problems since they seem to have the lowest price on the ammo I've been buying.

tried ordering a Russian biathlon basic from EAAcorp from one of their retailers yesterday. was first told can't ship to California and its banned in California... upon further investigation its because they have not filed paperwork to send or ship guns to California. never thought it would be hard to get a .22wmr straight pull bolt action rifle. Even IN California things are getting ridiculous.

Do a search for CTD on Calguns. This topic comes up every few weeks. CTD are anti-CA and will not ship perfectly legal stuff to us. They won't even ship a front sight adjustment tool for an AR-15 to CA. But who cares, there's plenty of other companies that will.

CTD were the biggest price gougers during Obama-mania and have lost lots of customers nationwide on other gun boards because of this. Their customer service sucks. Their shipping prices are high. Do I need to go on?

Sportmans Guide has also adopted an almost identical shipping policy for gun parts to CA. Both companies will ship ammo to (most counties in, but not all of) CA, but seriously, who wants to do business with companies that do not support the 2A rights of CA gun owners.

The stock posted by the OP is made by Tapco. There are about a million Tapco authorized dealers in America. Buy it from any one of them.
