Will a 22LR kit work on a piston LMT MRP upper

I have an LMT MRP piston upper. Will the 22LR kits from Spikes, CMMG, Ciener work on my upper?

I dont plan on getting the Spikes LMT MRP 22 barrel but justwant to know if the 22LR kits still function in the piston setup.

Unfortunately I don't have a definitive answer, but I did a quick search and found this thread elsewhere: http://boardreader.com/thread/Runnin...747Xc5gu1.html
It seems to me like it would be just fine, but I've never actually disassembled a piston upper. Unless there is some sort of op-rod that sticks into the receiver that would block the kit, it should just drop in and go - it's all self-contained and blowback operated.

I'm pretty sure it'll work but you may have to take out your piston. Don't quote me on that. This is just from looking at the manual and noting the difference between a normal key and the key on your MRP. If it fits then go ahead and run it like that. FWIW the 22 conversions don't use the gas in a DI system anyway, so it should have no problem cycling so long as you can get it in there.

I just have to find someone with a kit so I can check to make sure there is enough clearance for the piston and the 22 bolt.
