CLP Breakfree a problem for finish on GSG-5?

Like the title says, if you spray down your GSG with CLP Breakfree will the finish melt off?

Anyone know or done this?

Wasn't it the BreakFree Powder Blast and NOT the BreakFree CLP?

Yeah, Im not sure. I just convinced my buddy to try CLP, and then realized that one of the guns he ownes is a GSG. I want to give him a headsup so I dont feel responsible if his finish comes off. Since I dont own a GSG I havent followed the stories to carefully regarding this happening.

Just looking for verification from someone who has used CLP on a GSG before

I use Break Free CLP with no problem. My GSG5 has factory powder coated receiver.

BowderBlast was the product used on the gun that was defaced in the thread posted a couple of months ago.

Same here, Breakfree CLP has had no ill effect on the finish of my GSG-5 at all.

I have no experience with the BF PowerBlast at all, but CLP has been fine.
