    Colt Match Target Woodsman

O.K., So I disassembled my Colt Match Target Woodsman yesterday for a cleaning and now I can't get it back together. I get right to the point where I'm supposed to insert the mainspring housing into the reciever and snap into place. Well I can't get it to snap into place. I get real close but no cigar? I've triple checked the mainspring placement in the frame as well.

    Can anyone here help me?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

Beautiful pistol. I shoot a "pre-Woodsman" Woodsman 1928 even those shoot exceptionally well. Have you found out which ammo it likes best? Mine does OK on Remington target and Aquila pistol match. Just got 2 bricks of Winchester T-22 and some Eley sport
